Fun With LJ-Cut Tagging
I'm sure that everyone who got effectively spammed by my uber-long post on Sunday titled "TV Education: Gay or Straight, Or, The Myth of Bisexuality" will be happy to know that I've figured out how to use the cut tag for LJ so you'll only get hit with my normally long posts from now on. In fact, if you go back and look, you'll see I re-edited it just to prove I can use the cut tag. Yea me. And, in the meantime, for mucking up all my friends Friends Pages: Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
Heard that Latin phrasing once in a Pet Shop Boys song. Oh, OK, more than once. Played it to death on my tape of their Actually album. I admit to it being one of my millions of favourite songs because of its cool and depressing lyrics.
<A Noise From Outside the Window> Good heavens, is that a train whistle I'm hearing or a shofar? Hope it's not a shofar or the end of the world is nigh. Let me wait a minute and find out. Nope, still here. So that makes it the weirdest train whistle I've ever heard.
